LM2500+
Engine
GE Aerospace

The next generation

of the industry-leading
LM2500
It has all the same high reliability, availability, and efficiency (lower SFC) as the original LM2500 but with more power. It delivers up to 20% more power at a simple-cycle thermal efficiency greater than 39%.

The 40,500-shp LM2500+ marine gas turbine is based on the design and precedent-setting reliability of GE Aerospace's popular LM2500. The simple modular design of the LM2500+ provides for easy maintenance with features including:
    • A split compressor casing
    • In-place blade and vane replacement
    • In-place hot section maintenance
    • External fuel nozzles

Applications for the LM2500+ include military combatants and amphibious ships. The engine is also available as a generator set.
