CFD COMPUTING CENTER – DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES OF EMISSION REDUCTION AND COMBUSTION OPTIMIZATION
The subject of the project was to form an R&D laboratory in order to conduct precise and thorough analyzes and numeric simulations of phenomenon related to gas flows, combustion and acoustics of jet engines, turbines, compressors and other technological devices. The results of the research works conducted in the laboratory are widely used to design products featuring lower emission, more efficient fuel consumption and reduced noise level.
As a result of the project, the GECP introduced to its portfolio new improved services related to the CFD analyzes based on the High Performance Computing.
