360 Foam Wash
GE Aerospace’s 360 Foam Wash is an alternative to the water wash method with more cleaning capability. The 360 Foam Wash cart injects a proprietary foam detergent into the engine that removes dust and dirt particles. The foam reaches target areas within the engine, helping restore engine performance and improve fuel efficiency.
Blade Inspection Tool (BIT)
Blade Inspection Tool (BIT) is GE Aerospace’s advanced AI-enabled inspection technology for GEnx-1B and -2B high-pressure turbine Stage 1 and Stage 2 blades, designed to deliver clearer insights, greater consistency, and faster decision-making during engine maintenance. By combining standardized image capture, objective measurement capability, and an easy-to-review digital output, BIT enhances inspection quality and efficiency while creating a valuable historical record of blade condition over time. GE Aerospace’s Rigidizable Guide Tube (RGT) is an accessory device useable with 6mm borescope probe that delivers stable positioning for consistent, repeatable inspection views. Proven on GEnx applications, it helps customers inspect combustors with greater confidence and assess hardware condition more accurately.
