DEVELOPMENT OF A PROTOTYPE COMPRESSOR WITH SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED TECHNICAL PARAMETERS AS THE FIRST STEP TO CREATE IN POLAND A NEW GENERATION TURBOPROP ENGINE

The aim of the Project is to develop an innovative product on a global scale – a high pressure compressor for a new generation of turboprop engines, which will have crucial impact on the operation and efficiency of the entire engine – providing enhanced output engine power at the target flight ceiling, better fuel consumption and extended operating time between overhauls. The new compressor will exhibit better air compression ratio as well as higher power to mass ratio. The outcome of the Project will be applicable to a new generation turboprop engines dedicated for business and general aviation.

The Project aims to respond to one of the main needs of the target market, i.e. the growing demand for innovative technology that will reduce exploitation costs and increase effectiveness of the turboprop engine while preserving safety parameters during the engine operation.
