Today GE released its 2023 Annual Report, which includes Larry Culp's sixth Letter to Shareholders and our 2023 10-K.

In his letter, Larry reflects on GE's impact over the last 130-plus years—and what sets up GE Aerospace and GE Vernova to lead their respective industries going forward. “We're entering our future as independent companies from a position of strength,” Larry writes. “Fit for purpose for the next century-plus, GE Aerospace and GE Vernova each will be global leaders in vital industries that will only become more important over time, wholly focused on their customers and industry stakeholders.”

Last month marked my five-year anniversary with GE, and as we approach the launch of GE Aerospace and GE Vernova, prompted more IR team discussions about how meaningful we find our work here. So much of that is due to what Larry highlights in his letter: GE's constant quest for continuous improvement, the billions of lives touched by our technology, and most importantly, the people that are at the heart of all we do... including reinventing ourselves.

“GE will continue to grab the future,” Larry continues. “For more than a century, GE often set the standard. Moving forward and because of our people, GE Vernova and GE Aerospace will join GE HealthCare in doing the same.”
