FARNBOROUGH, England – 21 July 2026 – BBAM Limited Partnership (“BBAM”) today announced an agreement to purchase 30 CFM International LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B spare engines, strengthening its engine portfolio in support of operators of Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
“This agreement marks a new chapter in our long-standing partnership with CFM,” said Steve Zissis, President & CEO of BBAM. “This multi-year order reaffirms our dedication to providing our customers with one of the most efficient and advanced engines on the market.”
Over the years, BBAM has built a substantial engine portfolio including both CFM56 and LEAP engines. This agreement represents a significant milestone as the company’s first direct engine order with CFM International.
“This order is a testament to the strength and longevity of our relationship with BBAM,” said Gaël Méheust, President & CEO of CFM International. “We are proud to support their growth with LEAP engines and to work together in delivering efficiency, reliability, and lower emissions to airlines worldwide.”
With more than 10,000 engines delivered to date, CFM LEAP engines have experienced the fastest ramp in commercial aviation history. CFM continues to upgrade the LEAP fleet with a high-pressure turbine (HPT) durability kit to extend time on wing and a reverse bleed system (RBS) to lower airline maintenance burden. The company is focused on delivering high engine availability through exceptional MRO performance and competitive cost of ownership, with the benefits of aftermarket competition through its open MRO ecosystem.
