CINCINNATI, Ohio, September 4, 2025 – Avelo Airlines, a rapidly growing start-up airline, has adopted GE Aerospace’s FlightPulse® to elevate its flight safety program and provide pilots with actionable insights to optimize their performance. This collaboration underscores Avelo’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
FlightPulse®, a fully configurable, modular EFB application designed by pilots, for pilots, is now being utilized by Avelo pilots to access detailed flight data that highlights individual performance metrics, compares them against company standards, and provides peer averages. By integrating FlightPulse® into its operations, Avelo is equipping its pilots with tools to make informed decisions that enhance safety, improve efficiency, and foster self-learning moments.
FlightPulse Preflight will drive increased awareness of the top safety considerations for newly added and less familiar airports for Avelo pilots. Avelo added three new international destinations in 2024 (+150%), so maintaining visibility into emerging risks is critical to ensuring safe operational growth.
Additionally, as Avelo’s pilot group expands to meet growing business demands, the integration of FlightPulse into the onboarding process will help standardize behaviors related to procedure compliance. Post-flight data debriefing will further enable pilots to collaboratively improve safety and align with Avelo’s high standards of operational excellence.
“Avelo Airlines is dedicated to providing a safe and efficient travel experience for our Customers and adopting FlightPulse is a key part of that commitment,” said Scott Hall, Avelo Airlines Head of Flight Operations. “This innovative tool allows our pilots to better understand their performance and make data-driven decisions that align with our high standards of safety and operational excellence.”
By adopting FlightPulse, Avelo Airlines further demonstrates its forward-thinking approach to leveraging advanced technology to support its pilots and improve operational outcomes. GE Aerospace’s FlightPulse continues to prove its adaptability and value across diverse airline operations, reinforcing its position as a leading solution in aviation safety and efficiency.
Andrew Coleman, President and General Manager of GE Aerospace, Software as a Service, commented: “We’re proud to see Avelo Airlines adopting FlightPulse to empower their pilots and enhance their operations. This collaboration demonstrates the versatility of FlightPulse supporting emerging carriers to global network operators and highlights its ability to deliver actionable insights that drive safety and efficiency.”
