When she was a teenager, Maysaa Rizk wasn't sure what she wanted to do in life until she watch a pair of helicopter pilots practice take offs and landings on one fateful day. She realized her dream was to make aircraft fly. Despite of setbacks and challenges, she achieved her dream and is now an aerodynamic engineer at GE Aerospace.

When she was a little girl, every Friday for six years of her childhood, Devon Shepherd’s family would get in their minivan and drive to the airport to watch planes take off and land. Little did she know, plane spotting would help influence her into working at GE Aerospace for more than 20 years.

Since 2017, DaRosa has served as assistant chief pilot for GE Aerospace’s corporate flight department, supporting a team of seven pilots and flight operations for the company’s two HondaJets.
