We invest in STEM education across Asia Pacific to inspire and equip the next generation of aviation and engineering professionals. Our initiatives connect students with industry exposure, scholarships, and aerospace career pathways.

Lifting Futures in Malaysia
The Kuala Lumpur community will receive at least $1 million in grants to help close the advanced manufacturing skills gap. The grants will complement existing workforce development initiatives, such as the GE Aerospace-supported worker training effort at UniKL.

FLYTE Initiative with UniKL MIAT
GE Aerospace committed $125,000 (MYR 513,212.5) to Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) in Selangor, Malaysia, to expand aviation education and workforce training nationwide.

The Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools Program
GE Aerospace proudly sponsors this Queensland Government initiative, which connects students with industry partners and encourages careers in aviation.

The Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS)
We maintain a long-term partnership with SgIS, a multi-industry scholarship supported by the Singapore government. Since 2015, this collaboration has helped promising local talent join our workforce and grow into future leaders.

Helping Joy
In Singapore, we partner with Helping Joy to declutter, paint, and clean the homes of elderly and underprivileged community members.

Kechara Soup Kitchen
In Malaysia, we collaborate with Kechara Soup Kitchen’s Food Bank to collect surplus food and distribute it to those in need, addressing both food wastage and poverty. GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia also donated $3,000 (MYR 13,140.00) to support the 197,000 individuals served by the food bank.

PERTIWI Soup Kitchen
Since 2020, GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia has partnered with PERTIWI Soup Kitchen to distribute meals to the homeless in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, supporting vulnerable communities.

EPIC Homes
In Malaysia, we have partnered with EPIC Homes since 2015 to build houses for families in need, delivering six homes and two latrines to underserved communities.

The Good Box
In Australia, we partner with The Good Box to pack essentials and heartfelt notes for people in need, including individuals experiencing homelessness and mothers in crisis. These care boxes offer practical support and a message of hope from our volunteers.

By engaging employees and partners in hands-on sustainability initiatives, our volunteers help protect natural resources while supporting underprivileged communities.

Protecting Coastal Environment in Malaysia
In partnership with Reef Check Malaysia, our Malaysia volunteers took part in an International Coastal Cleanup at Pantai Bagan Lalang to remove marine debris and protect Malaysia’s coastal environment. The activity builds on a broader collaboration that includes a US$11,000 grant from the GE Aerospace Philanthropy team to support marine ecosystem protection, empower coastal communities, and accelerate beach cleanup efforts.

Waterways cleanup in Singapore
In partnership with the Waterways Watch Society, our Singapore volunteers led a cleanup at Kallang Basin and Marina Reservoir, clearing litter and promoting environmental stewardship.

Sustainable Green Program in Malaysia
In collaboration with HOPE Worldwide Malaysia, volunteers supported the Sustainable Green Program by planting seedlings in an aquaponic system that promotes eco-friendly food cultivation. The produce is harvested, packed, and distributed to underprivileged families across Malaysia.
