GE Aerospace IUE-CWA Employees Ratify New Four-Year Contract

CINCINNATI – July 1, 2025 – GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) today announced that a new four-year agreement has been ratified by employees represented by the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried, Machine and Furniture Workers - Communications Workers of America (IUE-CWA), putting the agreement into effect and completing the labor negotiation process.

Negotiations between IUE-CWA union leaders and GE Aerospace officially began on June 2, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. There are approximately 2,200 GE Aerospace employees who are members of the IUE-CWA or one of their affiliates in Lynn, Mass.; Madisonville, Ky.; Arkansas City, Kan.; and Niskayuna, N.Y. The new contract is in effect through June 23, 2029.

Additionally, the IUE-CWA and GE Aerospace committed to work together to collaborate on shared interests, including advancing the T901 engine program, which would power the Apache (AH-64) and Black Hawk (UH-60) helicopters; improving delivery by further implementing FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace’s proprietary lean operating model; and continuing to emphasize employee engagement and safety practices.
