Reality Czech: GE Aviation signs agreement for new turboprop HQ
General Electric and the government of the Czech Republic signed an investment agreement to build GE’s new turboprop headquarters outside the capital, Prague. The investment will double GE Aviation’s in-country employment.

When GE Aviation bought the Czech turboprop builder Walter Aircraft Engines in 2008, it hadn’t developed a propeller engine in decades. Over the last seven years, engineers in both Prague and in the U.S. worked diligently to develop a new advanced turboprop engine (ATP) that could change the propeller industry.
