GE Aerospace
Trusted partner to Korea's aviation industry for more than 60 years
GE Aerospace has powered Korea's commercial and military aircraft for more than six decades, beginning with the introduction of the J47 engine in the mid-1950s.

This marked the start of a longstanding partnership that has grown to include the largest fleet of GE Aerospace military engines in operation outside the United States, including the largest fleet of T700-powered aircraft.

As a long-term trusted partner, we collaborate with leading Korean aerospace companies on key programs, including indigenous fighter jet programs, such as the KF-21 Boramae (powered by F414 engines) and T-50 (powered by F404 engines), and the Korean multi-role utility helicopter program: Surion (powered by T700 engines).

Through our On Wing Support facility at Gimpo Aerospace Industrial Complex, we advance localization and technical cooperation to strengthen Korea’s aerospace industry.
