Almost 13,000

GE Aerospace engineers, innovators, and skilled manufacturers are helping shape the future of flight in Europe.
We continue to expand our team, adding more engineers globally and regionally, with an emphasis on experienced and mid-career professionals. These new team members will help us drive forward technology demonstrators such as CFM’s RISE* program.

*RISE (Revolutionary Innovation for Sustainable Engines) is a program of CFM International, a 50/50 joint company between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines.

Nurturing the next generation of aerospace engineers

The Next Engineers program is shaping the future of flight by providing students aged 13 to 18 with hands-on experience alongside GE Aerospace engineers.

In 2024, Warsaw became the first of four new cities to join the program, inspiring Polish students to explore exciting career opportunities in engineering. The Warsaw initiative includes:

Engineering Discovery – Engaging primary and early secondary school students in interactive STEM activities.

Engineering Academy – Equipping later secondary school students with immersive design challenges, career coaching, and university-readiness workshops.

Additionally, scholarships are offered to eligible students who complete the Engineering Academy and pursue an engineering degree. The Warsaw program is set to engage 4,000 students over four years, building a strong pipeline of aerospace talent in the region.
