    Robert Dowie

    Biography

    Robert Dowie is the Vice President Sales and Pole General Manager for Europe and Africa at GE Aerospace.

    In his role, Robert is responsible for overseeing all accounts and sales activities across Europe and Africa. He drives strategic growth initiatives and fosters key partnerships in the aerospace sector, leveraging over 35 years of rich industry experience.

    Robert began his career with GE Aerospace over three decades ago as a Field Service and Flight Service Engineer. After seven years in this role, he was promoted to Regional General Manager, where he managed critical operations and strengthened client relationships. Four years later, he became the Regional Director, Customer & Product Support Organization (C&PSO) for the Middle East and Africa, showcasing his exceptional leadership and operational expertise. For the past 11 years, Robert has served as Vice President Sales for Europe and Africa, successfully leading the organization’s commercial efforts in these regions.

    Before joining GE Aerospace, Robert completed a four-year Aeronautical Apprenticeship with British Airways, which provided him with a strong foundation in aviation maintenance and operations. He later served as Station Manager for Gulf Air, where he further honed his technical and managerial skills.

    Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from City University, London.

    Henry Johnston

    President & General Manager, Dowty

    Responsible for leading the global Dowty business from its UK headquarters.

    Biography

    Henry Johnston is the President and General Manager of Dowty, a GE Aerospace company specializing in electronically controlled, all-composite propeller systems for commercial and military applications.

    In his role, Henry is responsible for leading the global Dowty business from its UK headquarters, supported by facilities in North America, Australia, and other key customer regions worldwide. Henry has more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industries and has a demonstrable track record of delivering transformational business development, exceeding operational targets, and driving sustained growth.

    Henry became President of Dowty in 2020, following his role as Services Executive, a position he held since 2019. He joined Dowty Propellers in 2011 as a Sales Director and later served as Acting Product Leader for two years. Through these roles, he developed deep expertise in the company’s products and the propeller marketplace.

    Prior to joining Dowty, Henry began his career at BAE Systems in 2003, where he worked in engineering, supply chain, and business development. His extensive experience includes operations management, product lifecycle management, program management, and design engineering, providing him with a comprehensive business background.

    Henry holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, an MBA from the University of Warwick Business School, and a Master’s in Defence Acquisition Management from Cranfield University. He also holds a Certificate of Engineering from the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

    Scott Keating

    Executive Regional General Manager, Europe

    Responsible for leading GE Aerospace’s strategic initiatives and driving business growth across Europe.

    Biography

    Scott Keating is the Executive Regional General Manager for Europe at GE Aerospace.

    In his role, Scott is responsible for overseeing strategy leadership, sales campaign management, revenue growth, and strengthening customer relationships and satisfaction across the region. Appointed to this position in February 2024, he brings a wealth of expertise in process optimization, program management, and business development.

    Scott has 27 years of experience in the aerospace industry, having started his career in 1997 with Smiths Aerospace, which was later acquired by legacy GE in 2007. Over the years, he has held several leadership roles, including Engines Sales Director for SAAB Aeronautics, P&L Leader for UK MoD Aftermarket & Services, and Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) Delivery Leader for the UK Avionics Business.

    Scott also served as Customer Account Director for Dowty Propeller, working closely with BAE Systems and SAAB, and later as Director for European End Users and the European Customer Account Management Organization. In these roles, he successfully drove performance, built long-term partnerships, and delivered transformational results.

    Scott is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, with deep expertise in process optimization and program management. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, Coventry.

    Beyond his professional achievements, Scott is deeply committed to philanthropy. He serves as Chairman of Naunton Cricket Club, actively supports Kate’s Home Nursing Charity, and contributes to Dementia UK.

    Riccardo Procacci

    President and CEO, Propulsion and Additive Technologies

    Responsible for leading the Propulsion & Additive Technologies organization, with a focus on civil and military aircraft components and propulsion systems.

    Biography

    Riccardo Procacci is the President and CEO of Propulsion and Additive Technologies with more than 25 years of GE experience.

    In 2013, Riccardo joined GE Aerospace Systems as the Avio Integration Leader, based in Turin, Italy. In this role, Riccardo led the team that planned the smooth transition of Avio into GE, and in mid-2013 he was appointed as CEO of Avio Aero. In May 2020, he assumed additional responsibilities as CEO of GE Additive, and in December 2022 increased his leadership scope to include the Dowty Propellers and Unison Industries teams, becoming President and CEO of Propulsion and Additive Technologies.

    Riccardo joined GE in 1996, covering different technical and commercial roles before being assigned to Asia in 2000 as GE Oil and Gas region sales manager based in Kuala Lumpur. During his tenure, landmark projects were secured in the region in strategic segments like LNG and Pipeline. At the end of 2003, he moved back to the GE Oil and Gas headquarters in Florence, Italy, leading the Contractual Service Agreements business unit, part of the business' Global Services division.

    In 2006, he relocated to New Delhi, India, in the role of GE Country Leader, with the mandate to establish the Company's operations in India, while identifying and launching key localization initiatives and partnerships. In 2009, he was nominated to the role of Turbomachinery Applied Technology leader based in Florence, Italy, where he was responsible for the product leadership of the entire Turbomachinery portfolio, which spans from compressors to gas and steam turbines, turboexpanders, pumps, valves and control systems. In this capacity, Riccardo has spearheaded the development, testing and feasibility of new technologies such as the LM6000 for mechanical drive, the first floating LNG applications, and increasing the competitiveness of GE's steam turbines through the development of new high speed/high efficiency blades.

    Riccardo holds a Master's degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in turbomachinery from the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

    Alexander Schmitz

    Chief Executive Officer, Colibrium Additive

    Responsible for positioning Colibrium Additive at the forefront of the additive manufacturing and aerospace industries.

    Biography

    Alexander Schmitz is the Chief Executive Officer of Colibrium Additive, a GE Aerospace company.

    In his role, Alexander oversees the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the organization, leveraging his extensive expertise in product development, manufacturing, and global team leadership. He is passionate about driving innovation, operational excellence, and forging strong partnerships to advance Colibrium Additive’s leadership in the additive manufacturing and aerospace sectors.

    Alexander has over two decades of professional experience, having built a distinguished career characterized by operational excellence and innovation. Before joining Colibrium Additive in 2023, he served as the CEO of FlexLink, where he was instrumental in transforming business operations and driving growth. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Bosch, holding senior leadership and engineering positions across diverse functions, including product development, manufacturing, and international operations. His contributions consistently delivered results in complex and dynamic environments.

    Alexander holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Aachen University in Germany.
