Lifting People

Up
Through local partnerships and volunteer initiatives across Latin America, we lift people up in the communities where we live and work.

Our Engineering Center's volunteer program in Mexico has touched lives for 25 years. Our work spans education, environmental conservation, and support for vulnerable groups and children with disabilities – because everyone deserves a chance to thrive.

In the TECHO program, our employees roll up their sleeves to build homes for families who need them the most. When our teams come together to plant trees, help communities recover from disasters, or care for animals in need, we see the real impact of committed action.

    Shaping better education
GE Aerospace strengthens educational opportunities by providing universities with essential equipment like computers and monitors and by working alongside government partners. Through our active role in the Consejo de Ciencia y Tecnología del Estado de Querétaro (CONCYTEQ), we help deepen the educational and innovation ecosystem in the state to create career opportunities and drive sustainable development.

    Illuminating schools
Our Illuminating Schools program has brought light to over 100 schools across Querétaro, Monterrey, San Luis Potosí, Saltillo, and Mexico City. Each light we install illuminates not just classrooms, but possibilities for students to learn and grow.

    Nurturing community relationships
In 2024, more than 700 employees at the GE Aerospace Celma facility in Brazil demonstrated the extent of their passion and empathy for the community where they live and work, by investing more than 1,400 hours across 14 volunteer events.

From recycling scrap materials to making toys for community schools to distributing books that help children learn to read and write, our volunteers demonstrated the power of solidarity and teamwork.
