GE Aerospace is a preferred aviation technology partner in Latin America. The region is home to one of our largest aviation engineering centers outside the US, with five manufacturing, repair and overhaul (MRO) sites located here. With presence in Brazil and Mexico, we provide services across the stages of an engine’s lifecycle.

We partner with all major airlines in the region to accelerate the progress of aviation. GE Aerospace is a proud partner of LATAM Airlines, Sky Airline, Azul Brazilian Airlines, Copa Airlines, GOL Airlines, Avianca Airlines, and Aeroméxico. LATAM Airlines Group, is the first airline group in South America to use our GEnx engines in the next Boeing 787s it receives.

    Defense and Systems

    Our F414 engine powers the Boeing E/A-18 Growler along with the SAAB Gripen E/F used by the Brazilian Air Force. We partner with prominent players in the Latin American defense market, including Embraer SA, IVECO SpA, Avibras Indústria Aeroespacial, Saab AB, and The Boeing Company.
      Propelling growth

      Brazil is home to one of GE Aerospace’s busiest MRO sites, GE Celma. It is the largest of its kind in Latin America, and one of the world’s largest MRO sites, servicing over 500 engines from companies all over the world, every year.

      GEIQ is GE Aerospace’s engineering center in Mexico with a strong team of engineers focused on specialized engineering, and design solutions. It is also the largest facility of its kind in Mexico.
