In this Quick Six, we sat down with Amanda Dolsen, who is in the Military Officer Leadership Program (MOLP). In her combined 11 years in the army, eight of those on active duty, Dolsen served as an Army Logistics Officer, where she led all aspects of Army logistics, including transportation and distribution, maintenance, ammunitions as well as managing fuel, water, and food distribution. She also managed parachute and aerial delivery commodities along with operations planning.

In our next instalment of Quick Six, we sat down with Hannah Gray, who was recently a finalist in the British Ex-Forces in Business Finalist for her work as an advocate for Veteran’s transitioning into commercial careers. She leads GE’s Military Officer Leadership Program for the UK and is also a regular speaker at Officers Association & Forces Employment Charity employment summits specifically supporting female veterans and those interested in commercial careers.

This coming Fall, GE Aerospace be the presenting sponsor for Military Makeover With Montel, a reality television program that renovates homes for veterans in need. Thanks to this collaboration, part of the series’ 35th season will focus on helping a veteran in Lynn, Massachusetts, the home of our defense business.

Two GE Aerospace employees recently joined had the opportunity to participate in a KC-135R Stratotanker aerial refueling mission high above the skies of Indiana to Oklahoma with the combat-ready aircrew from 434th Air Refueling Wing, Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana for a joint employer event.
